We will also do our utmost to recover any costs or damages from the other party in disputes or, if applicable, from the relevant public bodies.
With regards to the remuneration for our services, the following options are available, depending on circumstances, the client and the nature of the case:
− Fixed Fees: In a limited number of matters and legal services we offer Fixed Fee arrangements. Your situation will be assessed and a fixed fee will be set until a particular resolution or stage is reached.
− Hourly Rate: For most situations our fees will be charged according to an agreed hourly rate, with regular updates and estimates being provided.
− Retainer: Fixed monthly retainers can be set for companies and private individuals.
Please note that under Portuguese Law no conditional fee agreements can be entered into.
